About Heather
I am a dual credit math professor with a Master’s degree in Applied Mathematics, and I enjoy helping students feel more confident and comfortable with math. I teach Algebra, Precalculus, Statistics, and Calculus at the middle school, high school, and college level, including AP and dual credit courses.
My approach is patient, supportive, and easy to follow. I focus on breaking math down into clear, simple steps and helping students understand the “why” behind each concept. I use real-life examples and guided practice so students can build confidence gradually and feel successful during each session.
I have experience working with students at all levels. From those who feel lost in math to those who want to strengthen their skills and move ahead. Because I’ve taught both high school and college courses, I’m able to adjust my teaching style to meet each student where they are.
My goal is to create a calm, encouraging space where students feel comfortable asking questions, making progress, and starting to believe in their ability to succeed in math.

I am a dual credit math professor with a Master’s degree in Applied Mathematics, specializing in Algebra, Precalculus, Statistics, and Calculus for AP, honors, and college-level students.
