About Ceanna
PGDE, Bsc. Degree in Physical Geography: specialism in geochemistry. Passionate about SEN education, neurodiversity and growth mindset. Teaching and tutoring experience in Geography, Chemistry and Sport. Giving KS3 up to A -Level tutoring in Geography in Stockton-on-Tees and surrounding area. I am particularly happy to tutor students with learning difficulties and developmental difficulties.
I first started tutoring at 12 to help my sister who has severe dyslexia and ADHD; then at 15 I tutored peers In GCSE Chemistry. Now I'm a qualified teacher. I love taking complex ideas and breaking them down into simpler, smaller chunks, so that everybody has a fair chance at succeeding.

Studies show memory retrieval and spaced learning are helpful for all students. I combine this with working with students to understand their preferred learning approach e.g. visualisation aids, modelling, flashcards. My approach is personalisation meets evidence-based teaching. Patience, kindness and repetition go a long way!

Cancellations with less than 24 hrs notice will result in a charge to the full cost of the lesson.
Additional £5 travel cost if journey is greater than 30 mins (one way) to cover petrol costs of driving to the student. This price goes up to £10 if travel is greater than 45 mins one way.
