About Teresa-Lynne
My name is Teresa and I am so excited to work with you! I have been teaching for seven years and have experience with kindergarten through fourth grade. I was a second grade teacher for five years and now I am an ESL teacher that helps students learn English at a bilingual school. I love making learning fun and helping you feel confident! I love to make learning interactive, meaningful, and fun! I specialize in accommodating materials and lessons to the needs of my students. I start each session with a specific goal that we work towards during our time together. I model the skill and strategies, help the student through some practice, and then they have their turn to try it out! I like to use visuals, models, games, and hands-on materials to enhance the learning process. At the end of the session, I like to check-in with my students to see how they feel so that I can adapt my future lessons to what they need.
