About Nora
Hi! I'm passionate about helping students discover their potential and build confidence in their academic abilities. I earned my bachelor's degree in Writing, where I developed a strong foundation in academic writing, grammar, reading, and communication. I later earned my master's degree in Mental Health Counseling, which gave me valuable skills in communication, patience, motivation, and understanding how students learn best.
For over six years, I've worked as a tutor, helping students of different ages improve their writing, reading comprehension, grammar, and overall academic performance. I also currently work as a teacher, giving me hands-on experience creating engaging lessons and supporting students with a variety of learning styles and abilities.
I believe every student learns differently, so I tailor each lesson to fit their individual needs, goals, and pace. My teaching style is encouraging, interactive, and supportive. Whether a student needs help preparing for an exam, improving their essays, building stronger reading skills, or simply gaining confidence in the classroom, I'm committed to making learning both effective and enjoyable.

Students should take lessons with me because I bring over six years of tutoring experience and a genuine passion for helping students succeed. I hold a bachelor's degree in Writing and a master's degree in Mental Health Counseling, and I currently work as a teacher, giving me experience supporting students with a wide range of learning styles, abilities, and academic goals.
My background allows me to do more than simply teach content, I help students build confidence, strengthen critical thinking skills, and develop effective study habits that will benefit them long after our lessons are over. I create a patient, encouraging, and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and growing at their own pace.
Whether a student needs help with writing essays, grammar, reading comprehension, creative writing, or overall communication skills, I tailor each lesson to their individual needs and learning style. My goal is to make learning engaging, enjoyable, and meaningful while helping students reach their full potential and become confident, independent learners.
