About Duncan
Duncan is a French actor, clown and creator. He grew up in Portugal and Spain, and has been settled in London for the past 7 years.
Training
He graduated from East 15 Acting School in 2018, completed an intensive MA degree in 2020 at AKt-Zent World Theatre Training Institute and has worked with countless teachers and pedagogues, Jonathan Kay, Jurij Alschitz, Andrei Biziorek, Jamie Wood...
Work
Duncan worked with Fingers Crossed Theatre Company as producer, creator and actor for 4 years, with whom he toured London and Copenhagen with their hit show "Central (Story) Line", he left the company and joined the Demidov Laboratory London, led by Andrei Biziorek, in 2021. His film credits include a variety of Short and feature films; check it out on Google.

Getting into Drama School:
Getting into drama school can be a very daunting experience, especially if you are travelling from abroad to complete auditions. I understand. But I'm here to help.
Choosing monologues?
What works best for you? It can be hard to tell at first, so I more than happy to go through that process with you in discovering what piece of text will make you shine like a star.
Got a monologue?
Fantastic! Let's get to work. To start with, we'll simply, and gently, start by learning the lines. This will be a very cooperative process, to avoid learning them to quickly or to forcefully.
Lines are learned?
Once the lines are in the sweet spot; in between the conscious mind and the unconscious, only then can we get the text alive and physical. Then we can begin to deepen the text and get it ready for a panel and for whatever that may come at you in the audition room.

Acting is an essential part of any business. We all need, not matter what your line of work is, the confidence to express ourself fully, to have the courage to feel exactly what we are feeling at this moment.
What do you need?
There is a wide variety of topics this can include, like:
- How to approach a piece of text.
- How to let go of physical restraints and freeing the body.
- Becoming free on stage, and becoming your very own actor creator.
