About Amy
I'm a recent economics graduate now working as a financial analyst, where clear, precise writing is part of my job every day. Reports, analysis, communication with clients, all of it has to be correct and easy to follow. That's the same standard I bring to tutoring.
I care about writing done well, not just "correct." Rather than just marking up mistakes, I explain the reasoning behind them, so the improvement actually carries over to the next essay or test. I also help with ACT English and Reading prep, since strong grammar and reading comprehension go hand in hand with strong writing.
I'm patient, organized, and easy to work with, happy to start with the basics or fine-tune something more advanced, whatever fits where you're at.
