About Quincy
I am an Economics educator with more than 8 years of classroom and workshop experience. My goal is to make economics an active conversation rather than a passive subject. In my teaching, learners explore topics like markets, policy, and globalization through live discussions and debates. I believe that engaging with real-world issues helps transform theory into practical understanding. Students are encouraged to analyze, question, and argue with respect, learning that economics is as much about communication as it is about data. Critical thinking is central, as I guide learners to recognize trade-offs, incentives, and unintended consequences. We use current events as case studies, so each lesson feels timely and relevant. Learners discover how to connect ideas across cultures, disciplines, and perspectives. My teaching is designed to be interactive, fresh, and thought-provoking. By the end of a course, students not only understand economics but feel comfortable applying it to daily life and global challenges. I invite you to join me in exploring economics as a tool for clarity, problem-solving, and responsible action.

My approach to teaching economics is grounded in communication, curiosity, and real-world relevance. I believe that economics should help us better understand choices, trade-offs, and the systems that shape society. Lessons often use current events like climate change, global supply chains, or inequality as starting points. We then connect these issues to economic principles in a way that is simple yet meaningful. Learners are encouraged to reflect, ask questions, and think beyond the textbook. Dialogue is central, and I value respectful exchanges where every voice is heard. Through these discussions, students learn not only concepts but also how to express complex ideas clearly. I focus on interactive learning so that knowledge feels alive and engaging. Topics like sustainability and responsible resource use are key areas we explore together. Students build fluency in both understanding and communication. I work well with newcomers, guiding them gently toward confidence and awareness. By the end, learners see economics as a practical and thoughtful way to engage with the world. This method blends clarity with reflection for meaningful growth.
