About Madelyn
I am passionate about understanding people and learning about the ways we think and learn. As a researcher, I approach every lesson with curiosity and a range of experiences. I like to get to know my students so I can personalize their experience to best fit their personality and educational needs. In my free time, I love to read, practice yoga, and spend time outdoors.

For students in grade 1 to 3 I love to find out what interests they may have and find books or passages that keep them engaged. We then will talk about what we read, and if appropriate write about the reading and add some insights.
Every lesson depends on the student's experience, their engagement level, and their interests. I love to read and am passionate about supporting students on their reading journey. Every student is a reader, they just have to figure out who they are as a reader, and I am excited to help.
