About Jodie
My name is Jodie Matthews and I live in South Africa. I studied Early Childhood Development and one of my majors was Child Psychology. I then got my first teaching job as a Pre-school teacher. While working I went on to study part time and I studied Intermediate Phase (Grade 4-7). I worked for a year at my first school and then moved on to a school for Grade R learners with learning disabilities, specifically speech disabilities which involved me teaching them the basics of English, language, grammar and speech. I have been teaching for 4 years and I have been passionate about teaching and children for the longest time. I believe that everyone deserves and has the right to education doesn’t matter how old you are.
