I bring more than 16 years of diverse classroom experience and a strong commitment to meeting the academic and emotional needs of every learner. I hold an active teaching certificate, a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership, Reading Specialist Certification, and am a Certified Trauma Educator.
Over the past decade, I have specialized in educating students in partial and full inpatient hospital settings, supporting learners facing a wide range of medical, emotional, and educational challenges. My experience includes working with students diagnosed with anxiety, depression, eating disorders, addiction, cancer, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and those receiving Special Education services or supported through Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). These roles have strengthened my ability to build trusting relationships, differentiate instruction, foster resilience, and create safe, engaging learning environments where students can thrive despite significant challenges.
My background in literacy instruction, educational leadership, trauma-informed practices, and inclusive education allows me to adapt lessons to meet the needs of learners from diverse cultural and academic backgrounds. I am passionate about helping students develop confidence in their English language skills while promoting curiosity, respect, and a lifelong love of learning. I would be honored to bring my experience, compassion, and dedication to an international school community.
