About Guillermo

Hi! I am Guillermo Moyano, an electric guitar educator, content creator, and founder of the GuitarraMan project.

Over the past years, I have shared my passion for instrument mechanics, pedagogy, and guitar tone on my YouTube channel, building an active community of over 2,000 guitarists. I am also the author of technical guitar exercise books focused on perfecting high-speed articulation, sweep picking, legato, and tapping.

Beyond guitar biomechanics, I am deeply passionate about home recording technology and music production. I guide students through the entire setup process: from configuring audio interfaces and DAW environments like Reaper to dialing in professional guitar tones using IRs, delay, and EQ.

My teaching philosophy centers on efficiency, physical awareness, and practical results. I believe in eliminating tension to prevent injury and mastering the tools that allow you to record and express your music with absolute clarity.

I look forward to helping you reach your full potential as a modern guitarist and producer!

About the lesson

Are you looking to break through technical ceilings on the electric guitar while mastering professional home recording?

My name is Guillermo (GuitarraMan). I offer a comprehensive, dual-focused coaching methodology for intermediate and advanced guitarists:

1. Advanced Technique & Biomechanics:
• Eliminate physical tension, bad posture habits, and picking resistance.
• Master high-speed mechanics: sweep picking, legato, alternate picking, and tapping with clean articulation.
• Develop personal practice routines to measure speed and precision growth week by week.

2. Home Studio, Tone & Audio Setup:
• DAW Mastery: Learn how to route, record, and edit high-quality guitar tracks using Reaper.
• Hardware & Routing: Gain staging, audio interface setup, buffer sizes, and direct input (DI) optimization.
• Tone Crafting: How to shape studio-grade guitar tones using amp modelers, impulse responses (IRs), delays, reverbs, and EQ.

Whether you want to eliminate technical barriers or build a professional guitar sound for recording, our 1-on-1 online sessions are tailored to your goals.

Book a free introductory session to diagnose your playing and map out your custom action plan!
