About Heather
Hello! I’m a dedicated elementary tutor with a passion for helping young learners grow academically and personally. I believe that every child is capable of success when given the right support, encouragement, and tools. With several years of experience working with students in grades K–6, I’ve developed a strong understanding of how children learn and how to adapt my teaching to meet their unique needs. We wrap up with a recap of what we learned, strategies to practice during the week, and positive reinforcement to keep motivation high. I’m patient, encouraging, and attentive, and I adjust my methods to support neurodiverse learners, English language learners, and students who need extra help with focus or confidence.
