About Olivia
I have been an elementary school teacher for the past seven years, teaching second through fourth grade in that time. Before teaching I worked as an environmental educator, camp counselor and director, and a substitute teacher for grades K-12. I am passionate about teaching, and helping young minds achieve their potential!

Building strong rapport with my students is my first priority. Once that connection has been fostered, there is space for the vulnerability it takes to learn a challenging subject or concept. I am quick to adapt to students' needs through differentiation, the learning modality being used, and the energy level of the student on any given day.
