About Nicholas
I have been teaching flute for 13 years, and every class reminds me why I chose this profession. I enjoy working with school and college students and helping them discover the joy of creating music. I believe learning should be simple, encouraging, and enjoyable.
My lessons focus on breathing techniques, posture, finger placement, rhythm, scales, tone quality, and musical expression. I explain every concept step by step so students build confidence as they progress. I encourage regular practice, positive thinking, and patience because real improvement comes with consistency.
Seeing students perform confidently and achieve their goals has been one of the most rewarding parts of my career. Besides flute, I also teach music theory, sight reading, ear training, rhythm practice, improvisation basics, and performance preparation.
My mission is to help students become confident musicians while developing discipline, creativity, and a lasting love for music.

My goal is to help students become confident flute players through structured lessons and creative learning. I teach using Motivation, Communication, Integrity, and Creativity because these principles support long-term musical growth.
Students begin with strong fundamentals such as breathing, posture, rhythm, finger exercises, note reading, and tone quality. Advanced lessons include articulation, scales, dynamics, improvisation, musical interpretation, and stage confidence.
Motivation encourages students to practice regularly and celebrate every improvement. Communication ensures lessons are interactive and easy to follow. Integrity helps me build trust through honesty, patience, and equal attention.
Creative activities include rhythm games, listening sessions, duet performances, movie songs, ear training, and performance coaching. Besides flute, I also teach recorder, beginner keyboard, music theory, sight reading, music appreciation, and rhythm development.
