About Samantha
I've had the opportunity to have many great instructors myself, from my highschool chemistry teacher, to my university differential equations professor, to my horseback riding instructor. Teaching isn't about being a subject matter expert in everything, it's about being able to grasp concepts in a way that allows you to explain them, multiple ways and multiple times if necessary, to others. You will hear me ask often, "Does that make sense?" It's perfectly fine if the answer is no, because we can find another example or another explanation until there is understanding. But, as my chemistry teacher used to say, "I can't fix it if I don't know it's broken." You have to be honest with what you do and don't understand, so we can work through your questions!
