About Ryan
I am a committed flute tutor with 14 years of experience teaching students from school to college level, and I am passionate about helping them grow both musically and personally. My journey in music has taught me the importance of patience, dedication, and continuous learning, and I bring these values into my teaching.
I have worked with many students, helping them improve their skills and gain confidence in their abilities. One of my proudest achievements has been seeing students participate in competitions and performances with confidence and enthusiasm.
My teaching method is simple, structured, and practical, focusing on strong fundamentals such as breathing techniques, finger placement, tone clarity, and consistent practice. I also encourage creativity and enjoyment in learning, as I believe that music should be both meaningful and fun.
My goal is to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable, motivated, and inspired to achieve their goals.

My teaching methodology for flute is based on Motivation, Communication, Integrity, and Creativity. I believe that learning flute should be an inspiring and enjoyable journey for every student.
I begin by understanding each student’s level, goals, and interest in music so I can design lessons that suit them personally. I motivate students by setting small and clear goals and encouraging them regularly, which helps them stay focused and confident.
Communication is a key part of my teaching, and I explain breathing techniques, finger placement, posture, and tone production in a simple and easy-to-understand way. I make sure students understand each concept before moving forward.
With integrity, I guide students step by step and focus on building strong fundamentals. I provide honest feedback and support their improvement patiently. Creativity helps me design engaging lessons through songs, exercises, and interactive activities.
Along with flute, I also teach music theory, rhythm, and listening skills to support overall musical growth.
