Engaging student offering tutoring for english and history up to IGCSE level
Methodology
My teaching method is to cater to your needs, find out where you are struggling and engage with you on an individual level to solve any misunderstandings. I am open to using videos, games and various activities to help you with your work but I am also open to strictly focusing on homework or essays if that is how you feel you learn best.
Experience
I have just finished high school with an IB (International Baccalaureate) Diploma (this is the equivalent to A levels although arguably more challenging) I have a passion for history and english which have always been my best subjects: 3 A*s at IGCSE and a 7 (A*) in History 6(A) In English for my IB. I am a history enthusiast who can teach you tricks for analysing sources, summarising key points for your notes and structuring your arguments in a way that will tick all the boxes for examinations. I want you to have your own voice in history (thats the best part of it) but I want to help you come across in a coherent, intelligent manner enabling you to excel. Likewise, in English I can give support in deconstructing essay questions, structuring your essays, looking for key literary devices and using quotes in an efficient way. Whatever else you need help with you can let me know and I will do just that :)
