About Devin
I started teaching in middle school as a camp counselor and have loved passing on knowledge of the things that bring me joy. In high school and college I helped my juniors and peers study math and science as their tutor. Though not all of my students have shared my enthusiasm for the subjects we were studying, my lessons turned subjects that could be dry and intangible into (if not fun) useful, familiar, and no longer frightening concepts.

I like to share my enthusiasm for math and science subjects through examples and by working through problems to explore why the concepts in question work the way they do. In all situations I believe my methods help to deepen understanding such that my students can better remember and apply these concepts.
A typical lesson from me will include a discussion of any of the vocabulary about to be used before diving into the concepts and answering questions regarding a student's current curriculum.
My courses can help students succeed at any of the following levels:
Mathematics: any high school level, as well as college levels through calculus 3
Physics: high school up to mid-level collegiate physics (including fluid dynamics, statics & dynamics, and electrical theory)
Chemistry: AP and early collegiate chemistry
