About Saumiyaa
I’ve completed a B.Eng. in Chemical Engineering at McGill University, so I have a good foundation in math and science that I’m eager to share with students.
I have experience tutoring students in both middle school and high school and can ensure that lessons reflect the maturity of the student.
I always try to ensure that students have the best possible experience by establishing lines of communication and expectations before any tutoring sessions.

I tutor by going over key concepts of a given topic, followed by working through practice problems and discussing problems-solving strategies with the student.
I typically plan sessions by having the student communicate to me the subject matter they want to discuss, before each session.
I always make sure that the student is happy with the structure of the lessons and ensure open communication to tailor lessons to individual needs!
