About Patty
I have a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Arizona State University, along with experience as a TA/grader. I’ve worked closely with students across all levels, and I’m confident helping with any math or science topic — from algebra and calculus to physics and chemistry. My teaching style focuses on understanding the why behind each concept, not just memorizing steps or formulas. I believe that when students truly grasp how things work, everything starts to click — and problem-solving becomes easier and more enjoyable. I’m fluent in both English and Spanish, and I’m happy to tutor in either language to best support each student’s needs. Whether you’re looking to catch up, boost your grades, or deepen your understanding, I’m here to help you succeed with patience, clarity, and encouragement.

I’m a passionate and patient tutor with a strong background in math, physics, and chemistry. I specialize in helping students not just memorize formulas, but truly understand how and why things work. Whether we’re tackling algebra, calculus, Newton’s laws, or balancing chemical reactions, I focus on building real intuition and confidence — so students can solve problems independently and think critically.
I tailor my approach to each student’s learning style and take the time to break down concepts in a way that makes sense, not just for the test, but for real-life applications too. My goal is to make math and science feel clear, empowering, and even fun.
If you’re struggling, feeling stuck, or just want to level up your understanding — I’m here to help you get there.
