About Beth
I have a degree in biomedical engineering with practical experience from class work, internships, and lab work. I tutored high school math while in high school, solidified my knowledge through my college curriculum, and am excited to teach a new group of future STEM students. I have experience across a range of scientific disciplines including physics, biology, chemistry, calculus, thermodynamics, and fluid mechanics.

I believe in teaching to understand the subject not tricks just to pass a test. My teaching approach is to work through problems in a systematic way that creates a foundation for the student to succeed on their own. I think everyone has the capacity to be good at math, but not everyone has had the chance to learn it in a way that works for them. My lessons work from big picture concepts to small details and fill in the gaps.
