About Emma
I graduated last year from Ramapo College recently with a Bachelor's degree in English and Literary Studies. As a recent graduate, the difficulties of getting through assigned reading and writing are still fresh in my mind. Regardless of passion, there will be assignments that will be difficult to get through, which is where I can help. There are two important aspects of finishing an assignment: knowledge and analysis, which is what I focus on in my lessons. I will be able to help students finish assignments on time and with good quality work through my lessons.

As a recent college graduate, I focus on the two most important aspects of passing an English course: review and analysis. My goals as a tutor are to help students understand the material and its significance in the current literary landscape, as well as developing and improving any assigned writing. Reviewing the material is an integral part of my lessons, to ensure that the student knows what is going on in their assigned work. Discussion is also an important aspect of my lesson plan, making sure the student takes the initiative in making points and asking questions to help improve their understanding of their assignment. I will be able to keep said discussions and lessons interesting because I am aware of current events and online trends.
