I have my master's in English literature, and I have taken courses in editing, earning an A+ in copy editing—I know English grammar! I have three years of experience teaching writing and grammar to undergraduate students, and one year of experience teaching academic writing to a master's candidate.

My teaching methods vary depending on the student's needs. I like to begin by reviewing a piece of your writing together. I can identify issues with grammar and structure that need to be strengthened. Then, I tailor a grammar lesson or develop writing exercises specific to you. I break down the grammar and writing rules you may already innately know, and I explain them clearly, so you can use correct English consistently.
If you already know what grammar or writing problem you need help with, let me know in advance, and I will prepare the lesson accordingly.
I offer classes to high school students, undergraduate students, and graduate students. My classes are open to post-secondary English-second language students who have a high degree of proficiency, and who want help with academic writing.
