About Nikhil
Having had months of online tutoring experience back in England before studying at McGill, as well as three weeks working at a kids' sporting camp, working with adolescents has always been a passion of mine.
Having been taught the patience and open- mindedness necessary for a healthy, productive environment where learning is enjoyable, rather than chore- like, has been something I look forward to bringing to these sessions. I will ensure a pace that is completely flexible to accommodate for any level of learning.
Having just recently completed my A- Levels to a strong academic standard, the stress and worries of exams are very understandable to me- I will be able to relate to any queries or concerns with the revision portion of the learning with a good ear, as these are anxieties that I recognise and understand completely.

Marking out the time for the student to get comfortable with the material is of utmost importance to me when it comes to tutoring.
I consistently make the effort to teach the content in a way that will be digestible, using close reading and discussion. The student finding their own way through the content via guided conversation leads to both better grades and higher overall comprehension.
I research the exact specifications of the mark schemes for the student's exams, to ensure that they are concisely prepped to attain high marks. I believe going through past papers together is the most efficient activity in sessions, which I strive to teach in a way that is digestible, rather than annoying.
I'm proud of my friendly and patient attitude towards both the students and their understanding of the content, and I believe that it is this teaching style which ensures enjoyment and a full learning experience.
