About Keren
I have been teaching for 20 years but not only in the classroom. I have taught English to all year groups across 4 continents and have also been lucky enough to have worked with young people in health and wellness. I love learning HOW we learn and finding ways to help young people realise their worth through confidence and a supportive environment. Throughout my career, I have been voted teacher of the year by students several times and have seen excellent results for university entrants.

Grade 10 - 12: I have a very supportive and relaxed lesson structure that focuses on developing the skills needed to master English exams. Feedback and response to feedback are key in improving results needed for University entrance.
Grade 7 - 9: For younger students, project-based learning is the best way to learn a language. What is the student interested in? We go from there! I make lessons engaging and fun, using my experience from top international schools in London, Hong Kong and China to build a love for reading which results in fostering a sense of confidence for the student instead of only focusing on test scores.
Each lesson will include reading, comprehension and feedback on their writing. Essential components of literature and language are woven into lessons consistently so that skills can be mastered. I use slides, videos, non-literary texts like posts, adverts and blogs to keep material current and engaging for each year group.
