About Layla
Hi, I’m Layla, a first-year student at the University of Alberta majoring in Psychology with a minor in Creative Writing. I studied IB Higher Level Language and Literature, which gave me strong skills in reading, analysis, and writing. Outside of academics, I write my own songs and poetry, which deepens my love for creativity and expression. My lessons are patient, supportive, and tailored to each student’s needs. I know how overwhelming essays and analysis can feel, and I want to make English more approachable, enjoyable, and confidence-building for every student I work with.
