About Alfie
I graduated with first-class honours in BA English from UCL, before receiving a distinction in my MA in Modern English from the University of Glasgow. Since completing my PGCE, for the past three years I have been working as a qualified primary school teacher. I bring patience, dedication, and personality to my teaching, regardless of age range. I am incredibly passionate about what I teach and love using my knowledge and dedication to help students achieve great results.

As an English specialist with several years experience in teaching, I tailor my lessons to the student's needs, basing our sessions on the texts within the curriculum they are studying.
Sessions are typically 45 minutes - 1 hour. We will look at how to analyse literature, critical theory, and how to build these into effective essays in order to prepare for exams.
We will look at exam-style questions together and look in-depth at how best to approach them.
