About Joey
I have completed a BA in English, media and film studies, and a minor in Political Studies, along with completing AP English at my time in high school. I have written professionally before, along with managing and editing for a university newsletter and social media accounts. I have experience tutoring throughout my university days, and being so fresh off the university train, I have all the knowledge and lessons still fresh in my brain. I encourage active participation, asking questions, and facilitating discussions to ensure that students are fully engaged and comprehending the material.
A typical lesson plan normally includes a brief introduction, basic warm up questions or activities, main content review, practical application, and a Q&A after completion!
What sets me apart from other tutors is my ability to adapt to the current student and what their needs are in the moment, rather than remain rigid in what I had planned.
I mainly tutor at the middle school to high school level.

I attended Joey’s LSAT tutor lessons at Bishop’s University for the year 2023-2024 and I am very grateful for his help!
