About Ross
I studied English Literature and Language for five years as an undergraduate and have been writing for as long as I could hold a pen. I am a talented teacher having been in a teacher training course for three years.
Helping students understand the English language and use it to express themselves is a keen passion of mine and I have a unique and developed tutoring style; I personalise this for each of my students.
I have acted as a tutor for several people within my family and I am known for being patient and making the subject interesting and engaging for all learners.
Expect me to demand hard work, and to work just as hard in return to help you reach your goals.

My teaching method is informal and relaxed. We will talk in our first session about your goals, your expectations and what you ask of me. I will then lay out how we are to achieve your goals, what I expect in return and how I will structure our sessions.
My practice is adaptable too. If your priorities change, I will update your learner profile to a more appropriate set of goals.
Our lesson structure will vary person to person but I usually like to start with a recap of the last session, followed by studying a new theme. The final part of the lesson will involve you "teaching back" the subject to me - putting what you have learned into your own words and explaining it to me.
