About Laurie
I hold a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts in English Communication, and I have 11 years of experience teaching English to students from different backgrounds. My interest in English began with a strong passion for reading and writing, which later developed into teaching. Over the years, I have helped many learners improve their language skills and build confidence through structured lessons.
My teaching style focuses on clarity, patience, and consistent practice. I believe that students learn best when lessons are simple and well organized. I use practical examples, guided exercises, and regular feedback to help students improve step by step. I also encourage students to participate actively and ask questions to build confidence.
Outside of teaching, I continue reading and exploring new learning methods to improve my teaching skills. This helps me keep my lessons engaging and effective. Teaching English is very rewarding to me because I enjoy helping students communicate clearly and confidently.

My lessons focus on improving speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills through clear explanations and structured activities. I guide students in understanding grammar, expanding vocabulary, and forming correct sentences step by step. Each lesson includes conversation practice, reading exercises, and writing tasks that help students improve gradually. I create a positive and comfortable environment where students feel confident to participate and learn.
Beginners start with simple vocabulary, basic sentence formation, and everyday communication. Intermediate learners focus on grammar accuracy, reading comprehension, and improving speaking fluency. Advanced students work on expressing ideas clearly, improving writing skills, and building confidence in professional and academic communication. I adjust lessons based on each student’s level and provide regular feedback to support progress.
Learning English helps students improve confidence, communication skills, and opportunities in many areas of life. As students improve, they become more comfortable expressing their thoughts and understanding others. My goal is to make English learning simple, useful, and enjoyable so students can use it confidently.
