About Isabella

I’m a first year Biochemistry student from the University of Bath, with 2 years of experience helping students in English Language. I love teaching because I enjoy seeing students grow in confidence and finally understand topics that once felt difficult. I’m patient and organised, and I’ll always make sure you feel supported and motivated in every lesson by tailoring the lessons towards your way of thinking, using acronyms and quizzes to help you progress. I have worked with a range of ages of children and strive to help students get to their target goals.

About the lesson

I tutor English Language for students at GCSE level or below, and my goal is to make English feel clear and understandable rather than confusing. I’m currently studying Biochemistry at the University of Bath, and I have over 2 years of experience helping students improve their grades and prepare for exams. My lessons are tailored to you. In the first session, we’ll work out where you are and where you want to be. Then I break topics into simple steps, use plenty of examples and practice questions, and explain things in different ways until they click. I also share exam tips and revision techniques, and I’m always happy to go over homework or past papers.
Lessons usually last an hour, but I’m flexible. I’m patient, friendly and supportive, and I’d love to help you reach your goals in English.
