About Tia
My journey as an English tutor began with a deep appreciation for literature, communication, and critical thinking. I pursued an M.A. in English Language and Literature, where I studied grammar, writing, reading, and analytical skills in depth. Over 11 years, I have worked with learners of all ages and backgrounds, guiding them to gain clarity in expression, fluency in communication, and confidence in using the English language effectively.
I approach teaching with patience, encouragement, and adaptability. I believe learners thrive when they feel supported and challenged at the same time. My teaching style emphasizes understanding concepts rather than rote memorization, giving learners the tools to use English confidently and creatively. I integrate reading, writing, listening, and speaking activities to make lessons dynamic and holistic.
Beyond teaching, I continue exploring literature, language trends, and communication techniques. These experiences enrich my lessons and allow me to provide students with relevant, contemporary, and engaging learning materials.
