I’m only 24 so not too far off from GCSE times (I’d like to think!) The memory of not being able to ‘get’ exactly how texts or books need to be interpreted for the best results is still fresh in my head. I have a system of writing paragraphs that helped me flourish and achieve a 9 in GCSE English Literature (the highest grade I think I ever have gotten).
