I am well versed in the standard grade/higher/advanced higher exam materials and I offer step-by-step past paper sessions to help students understand key concepts which will allow them to tackle any question that might arise. I also specialise in support with essay writing, such as help with structure, grammar, and effective arguing. I tailor one-on-one lessons to the specific issues that students may have with understanding questions, formulating responses, and essay writing queries. I will usually go through examples that are specific to problem areas and build confidence from there.
I am a recent English Literature graduate from the University of Glasgow. During my studies at university I developed an excellent grasp of the written word and strong communication skills. I have a real connection with literature and I hope to help young people find value and understanding in the texts they are studying. I have a sharp eye for detail which has helped me build strong experience in editing and proofreading through academic work and published essays.
