My name is Jessica and I am from the United Kingdom. Since graduating University, I have missed studying and wish to help others with their English and History topics as I enjoyed mine so much. I have a passion for reading and creative writing and all kinds of history.

I teach using blended learning, involving face-to-face methods over video calls and online components. I follow personalised methods, adapting to each student to find out their strengths and tailor to their specific needs and goals.
The length of the lesson varies on topics and needs of the students, however on average 1-2 hours.
I have experience tutoring online back in the UK for high school students preparing for their exams.
The lessons would be for any ages up until 18 - secondary school levels.

Jess is a wonderful tutor, she has a lot of patience for you and really takes the time to explain so that you can fully grasp it. She also tries to find the best approach that works for you and doesn’t just leave you sitting there to figure it out yourself. Would highly recommend her if you struggle with the English language or just want to improve!
Jessica helped me with a number of modules throughout my studies. She made me feel comfortable and supported in asking questions and making sure I fully understood the content we went through. She was particularly good at breaking down different mark schemes and helping me re word my answers to ensure I was hitting the highest grade boundaries. I saw an improvement in both my confidence in answering essay and exam questions and with her help managed to achieve great grades.
