About Roma
I have always had a genuine passion for English Literature, particularly the way reading allows us to explore different perspectives, ideas and experiences. I love discussing books, characters and interpretations, and I want to share that enthusiasm with students while helping them develop their confidence and discover that literature can be both rewarding and enjoyable. Having recently achieved an A* in English Literature, I understand the demands of the subject and want to help other students reach their full potential.

My teaching style is personable, conversational and tailored to each student. I focus on building confidence through discussion, helping students develop and refine their own ideas rather than memorising answers. Lessons can include essay planning, drafting and marking, alongside mock writing exercises and detailed feedback to strengthen technique, analysis and exam performance.
