About Laurence
I love working with people and I deeply enjoy English. Combining these skills has always been a deep passion of mine.
When running a tutoring program, I learned many skills in working with people of all backgrounds and turning their passion into a means of enjoying learning.
I always have enjoyed making learning accessible for everyone, and togethee we will reach any goal we set our minds to do!

I formally ran a tutoring program in middle school, and saw great success with each individual I worked with.
I love transforming learning from a menial, required task into an enjoyable, productive privilege.
I have seen great success in my personal English-specifically writing and speaking- journey in various areas such as:
*Receiving numerous academic awards in school
*Starting a school-wide newspaper
*Scoring in the 99th percentile for English in Iowa State Testing
Together I believe we can write a great story, enjoy literature, muse via poetry, and prepare for that big exam!
