About Kafi
Throughout Kafi's academic career, writing has consistently been her passion. From the early age of seven, she has been creatively writing. As she matriculated to higher levels of reading and writing, her skills have only sharpened. At Spelman College, she has truly blossomed in her ability to write argumentatively and critically for the purpose of essays. She has found her voice and a strategic pattern and "groove" to write interesting and impactful pieces. Additionally, taking creative courses in and out of college throughout her life has ensured that Kafi has found her voice. She is wonderfully skilled in writing poetry and short stories. Helping other people and students of all backgrounds to share their stories and understand the importance of written communication is her fulfilling passion.

Kafi is incredibly patient and intentional about working with students in a way that caters to their learning styles and academic needs. A typical lesson plan is dependent on the genre of writing.
