About Ashley
Hi! I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Media from Florida International University, with a minor in Social Media and E-Marketing Analytics. My academic background strengthened my communication, writing, research, and analytical skills, which I bring into every tutoring session.

My approach to tutoring is personalized, supportive, and focused on helping students build both skills and confidence. I believe students learn best when lessons are adapted to their individual learning style, current skill level, and goals. A typical lesson begins with a quick review of the student’s goals and areas that need improvement. We then work through the lesson using explanations, examples, guided practice, and exercises. For SAT, ACT, and GED preparation, I focus on test-taking strategies, reading comprehension, grammar, time management, and practice questions while identifying areas where the student can improve. Each lesson ends with a review of key takeaways and recommendations for continued practice.
What sets me apart is my patient and encouraging approach. I want students to feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and taking their time to understand challenging concepts. I focus on breaking difficult material into manageable steps and celebrating progress along the way.
My lessons are designed for middle school and high school students, college students, adult learners, and anyone looking to strengthen their English or reading skills. I also work with students preparing for the SAT, ACT, or GED who want structured support, personalized instruction, and practical strategies to feel more confident on test day.
