About the lesson

Having had a passion for Literature my whole life, I have worked closely with younger students in my school to oversee their progress at English. One of the best things about English as a subject is it's discussion-based, interpretive style, which is what I aim to channel with those I tutor. As a student myself, exam and revision techniques are fresh in my mind and have real-life application, and I also have a personal knowledge of and involvement with literature to provide a wide range of support.

About Monifah

I have never formally given lessons before, as I am a student myself, but I have worked with younger students in small focus groups and one-on-one, both to aid my own learning and to help them understand better. As a consequence, they have gained a deeper insight of English by having key literary concepts and techniques explained by a student, with a deeper knowledge of exam conditions than teachers may have.
