I typically tailor my service to the needs of my student but fundamentally I break down all the requirements stated by the exam authority and focus on delivering the information my student requires in a clear and cohesive manner with an emphasis on the acquisition of independent, critical and analytic ability.
My teaching method is interactive in which the work would be based on either what they're learning in school or what i believe someone of their age would be learning. It would be based around the curriculum and each topic I approach would be useful and beneficial to the student.
My teaching method is based on the needs of each individual student. My lesson plans would be a coherent mix of going through specific topics which the student is stuggling with as well as making sure we progress according to the exam board/curriculum. If the student would prefer a different teaching method or structure, I am more than happy to accomodate this.
My teaching method is to explain all the content as simply as i can to make sure everyone can understand. Make things very visual and do my best to help everyone understand the concept of the work.
I make sure my class is interactive allowing my students to participate continuously throughout the lesson. this prevents my students from being bored in my lessons.
I would describe myself as being a very relatable and friendly character and extremely passionate to the subject, English. I aim to add humour to my lessons and my main objective is to make the subject easy and enjoyable for students and to make sure that students feel confident in what they are writing and do realise that they have the potential to achieve anything . I teach up to GCSE level.
I approach eacg topic by breaking down the basics and then gradually building up intensity which caters to the student's level
I set a lot of tasks to do so that the student can practice. After all, practice makes it perfect. I will start by seeing how skillful they are and teach the structures for essays. Also, I will test them and time them - for the poetry as well as students normally find it challenging.
Hi! I am currently a first year student at KCL, studying Religion, Politics and Society. I have previously tutored in Maths, English and Scoiology and have a wide range of experience working with pupils of many different ages, in small groups or on an individual basis. Through this, I have also been told that my approach to teaching makes it enjoyable for my students.
My teaching methods are structured to the 11+ requirements, more specifically the CEM (Durham University) exam. I have been teaching an 11+ class of over 15 students for the past 6 months, who are progressing extremely well. My methods generally involve going over past papers and working through different exam question types to ensure that each type is approached appropriately.
Having had a passion for Literature my whole life, I have worked closely with younger students in my school to oversee their progress at English. One of the best things about English as a subject is it's discussion-based, interpretive style, which is what I aim to channel with those I tutor.
My lessons are fun and creative.
Teaching has always been rewarding and I want it to continue to be so. I want my students to have fun and essentially enjoy what they are learning while also focusing on exam technique.
I approach each topic with interactive methods and talk to my students to see what method of teaching engages them the most for example videos, games or test questions. I will then be able to assess them regularly to consolidate their learning.

Hi, I'm Joanne! I just graduated from the University of York, where I studied French and completed a year abroad in France. I am willing to tutor up to GCSE level in French. I believe that speaking is the most important skill for learning a language, so we'd start with a small conversation and then have grammar activities based on things you struggle with.
I plan to give English lessons from basic primary school level up to A2 at A level and plan to give law lessons up to university level. I plan to structure by lessons on a person by person basis as a different structure will suit different students and their strengths/weaknesses differently.
