I am an English major with minors in creative writing and rhetoric. I have been an official writing tutor for a year, but I was also an English tutor during high school. I have been the chief editor and designer of three literary magazines.

My teaching methods are to let you have as much say as possible in this process. When reading or writing something, I'll want you to read it out loud and I'll let you think about the text for a moment, and I'll offer advice, ideas, and/or opinions if need be. The English language can be daunting and intractable, but we can find meanings in most writing. I can help with reading texts critically, but I can also help with the writing process. Together we can brainstorm ideas, create drafts, and I can review essays for clarity. I'm a junior in college, so my lessons are meant more for other students, but I am willing to help anyone who needs assistance with English-related topics.
