About Andrea
I am a parent of three children that all have exceptionalities. My oldest has PTSD from when her 8th grade friends made a suicide pact, and she lost friends. My middle child is diagnosed ODD, oppositional defiance disorder. My youngest is autistic.
I have two stepchildren, one is SLD, slow learning disorder, and the other is ADD and gifted, which is a double in terms at a school meeting. A double is taught in a different way than just one exceptionality.
I have spent my past several years taking classes and learning as much as possible about each childhood disorder, psychology, and how it relates to a child’s learning. The more you understand about how someone learns, the more you will help them.

I am K-12 Florida certified by the Department of Education to teach all subjects in ESE, although my passion is English.
I can help struggling students that need to go back over their sounds, decoding, and morphology. Also I can provide students support in writing essays for high school and college with correct grammar and sentence structure.
