About Azey
Develop your critical, conceptual and contextual responses!
As an experienced secondary school English teacher with ability to teach key stages 3, 4 and 5. I have practical knowledge to stretch those seeking the higher 7-9 grades and build confidence for learners who wish to leap beyond the pass mark/predictive grade.
I am passionate about reading and specifically quality English teaching and learning. I use creative and experiential techniques to make learning stick, enjoyable and build up skills that children can take back into classrooms and beyond. Whilst I am experienced in teaching a wide range of traditional texts; I particularly enjoy Shakespeare, Jekyll and Hyde and An Inspector Calls… My passion is a diverse curriculum and particularly for Key Stage 3 (years 7-9) and adding context to your critical, conceptual, analytical writing.
