About Hajirah
Final Year Uni Student studying Primary Education (BA3)
Growing up, I was surrounded by lots of good teachers who acted as role models and highlighted to me how rewarding and beneficial teaching is in today’s society. Seeing how resilient and kind my teachers were made me realise that teaching is the profession that I would like to pursue!
Throughout my time on my university course, I have been able to continue developing a wide range of desirable key skills such as organisation and communication with children and staff. Due to this, I gained more confidence with my teacher persona in the classroom. I Furthermore, I was able to utilise the content I learnt at university when teaching and planning lessons, which made a significant impact on children's learning.
I have also been an English tutor in the past, so it is something I am confident with!

Having received a large amount of teacher training from university, I have gained a huge confidence with using a range of effective teaching techniques in order to help children progress with their learning! I have reflected that the 'I Do, We Do, You Do' lesson structure allows children to gradually gain more independence with their learning.
I have also previously been an English tutor for KS2 and KS3, so tutoring is something I am very confident with!
