About Danica
I’m a dedicated and approachable English tutoring focused with a life-long passion for reading and writing that began at a young age. I completed AP Capstone Seminar, AP English Language and Composition, and AP English Literature and Composition, earning a 5 on my final AP English exam in twelfth grade. I take pride in being reliable, professional, and easy to work with in order to create a supportive environment for students to feel comfortable asking questions and improving at a steady pace.

I offer personalized English tutoring focused on building strong writing, reading comprehension, and critical analysis skills. In high school, I completed three years of AP English as well as AP Capstone Seminar, and graduated with honors. I help younger students build stable foundations in writing, reading, and grammar, while aiding older students with essays, literary analysis, and exam prep. My approach is student-centered: I break down complex concepts into clear steps, using engaging methods for younger learners, and providing detailed feedback to older learners to strengthen their tool belt. What sets me apart is my ability to adjust to each student’s level and explain things in a clear, practical way. Through this, we can improve not just grades, but also confidence and independence in English.
