I have been working a a teacher for 20 years and have taught students from ages 5 to adult. I cover many different subjects and have taught mainstream and SEND students (specialising in EBSD, ASC, ADHD, Dyslexia and SLCN needs).
I currently undertake 1:1 and small groups tutoring as required and in many different locations. I have helped students who are in school, out of school, between schools or have left school / college altogether ensuring that the lessons are bespoke to them. I’ve helped pupils obtain GCSEs, BRECs, functional skills, AS Leveks and A levels, 11 plus and entrance exams plus supported those completing undergraduate degrees and PGCEs.

I was employed as the Assistant SENCO (Special Educational Needs co-ordinator including Behavioural, Emotional and Social Needs) but due to the movement of the SENCO to another role within the school I was the Acting SENCO from January 2004. As part of this position I was responsible for special educational needs provision in the school and was the line manager for 8 Teaching Assistants, including Performance
Management. I was also in charge of the budget for the SEN team and monitoring the work of the teaching staff in school in relation to SEN pupils. I also taught RE, History, Performing Arts, Geography and English

I was a teacher of RE at Brownhills High School, and I was also in charge of Citizenship across the school. I was a member of the Senior Management
Committee, and the SEN link member. As part of this position I had extensive experience of dealing with communications, personnel and administrative issues. I also supported in KS3 and 4 English and Maths.
