About Tessa
I’m a CELTA-qualified English teacher with around 5 years of teaching experience in Ireland, France and Australia.
I’ve taught:
• Children from 4 years old
• Teenagers
• Adults
• Beginners to advanced students
• Individuals and small groups
I also founded and ran my own English teaching business in France, where I taught small groups and individual students.
I have a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, specializing in Neuropsychology, which also gave me a strong interest in how people learn and remember information.
Who are my lessons for?
Basically, anyone who wants to improve their English!
Whether you’re a complete beginner, a student who needs some extra help, an adult preparing to move abroad, or simply want to feel more comfortable speaking English, I’ll adapt the lessons to your level and goals. I also give lessons for specific exams!

I believe the best way to learn English is to actually use it.
My lessons are relaxed, practical and adapted to each student. I don’t want you to spend the whole lesson memorising grammar rules. We’ll focus on speaking, understanding and becoming more confident in real-life situations.
