About Aleesha
My name is Aleesha. I want to teach English because I believe language is a bridge—it connects people, cultures, and opportunities. Helping someone learn, write and read English means giving them confidence to express themselves, access to education, and the ability to achieve goals they may not have thought possible. For adults, that could be advancing in their careers or travelling the world with ease. For children, it’s building a foundation that will support them for life. For me, teaching English is about more than grammar or vocabulary—it’s about empowering people to grow, connect, and succeed.

English is the most widely spoken language in the world, opening doors to travel, career and global connection. I work as a TA throughout the UK. I enjoy teaching English to both adults and children, I help people at all stages. I find teaching English rewarding in many ways; it can be deeply rewarding to connect with people across cultures, travel with confidence, or advance in their careers. For children, English gives them the joy of discovery, new ways of expressing themselves, and skills that will support them throughout their lives. Teaching English to both adults and children is about more than words – it’s about giving them the tools to grow, connect, and thrive. I want to be able to help people reach their full potential in whatever it is they look to achieve.

I came across Aleesha when looking for a tutor for my nephew who is 6, and it's first time working with her. The lessons went fantastic- she was super patient, kind, and took time to understand how he learns. I wasn't able to do in person so having the option to do remote lessons was so valuable. I can't recommend her enough!!
