About Tamara
I am a Maths with Modern Languages (Spanish, French and Italian) First Class graduate with over 10 years of tutoring experience. I have taught 11+ for entrance to the Bexley and Kent schools, private schools including JAGS and Bromley High, as well as Newstead Wood School and St Olaves Grammar school, both of which I myself attended. All of my students have not only achieved admission to their first choice school, but have increased significantly in their confidence which is my number one aim! I have worked as both a private tutor and with agencies to teach up to A Level, IB and Cambridge Pre-U Maths, with my students seeing noticeable increases in their grades, some of whom have gone on to study at top Russell Group Universities such as Cambridge and the LSE. I have experience teaching children with learning disabilities such as dyslexia and ADHD, and ensure that my teaching style is always catered to the student. I hope to help you achieve your goals and reach a level of confidence in your subject that will carry you through life. Lessons are conducted in an interactive manner and adapted to meet the learning style of the student. Online lessons involve sharing screen and writing down the workings for Maths questions step by step, driven by the student but with input from myself.
